Senior Linux Engineer PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Engineer to join our team.As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing real-time data systems.Your primary focus will be on ensuring the uptime and performance of global trading and data services.This includes resolving data quality issues through root cause analysis, managing internal and external vendors, and supporting on-call, incident management, and change management processes.Resolve data quality issues through thorough analysis and problem-solving.Support on-call, incident management, and change management processes to ensure business continuity.Implement monitoring tools to guarantee optimal accuracy and timeliness of data in real-time.Collaborate closely with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience.Manage alerts requiring technical expertise for resolution and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.Identify and resolve incidents from onset to completion, minimizing business impact in production environments.Oversee production changes, including content, software updates, and checkouts.Ensure seamless release management, event management, user support, and reporting.Requirements:At least 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.Extensive expertise in Linux System Administration.Familiarity with Windows operating systems.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and/or Python.Demonstrated networking and connectivity skills.Excellent communication and English language skills.Fundamental understanding of ITIL Foundation and best practices.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Nice-to-have skills: experience with ITRS Geneos, EXEGY, or Market Data platforms.
