The Corporate Banking Associate is an intermediate level professional responsible for leading the planning of investment strategies and solutions for major market clients in coordination with the Institutional Banking team.The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk.Responsibilities:Manage a client portfolio as a Relationship Manager to deliver new origination, resulting in net new revenues for Citi by expanding the wallet penetration through cross-sell of the overall product platform, while protecting existing revenue streams.Have full accountability for the entire wallet of the clientAssist with day to day cash management activities, trading initiatives, vendor finance, foreign exchange, loan activity, debt capital markets efforts, share repurchase and interest rate/equity derivativesLead strategic initiatives across Markets, Cash & Trade SolutionsResponsible for evaluating public filings, research reports, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analysesResponsible for staying abreast of market and industry trends, "best practices" and competitive landscapeAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:5-8 years of experienceMBA or Master's Degree in Business preferredStrong credit skills, credit background and knowledge of Citi's credit policies,Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsCPA 20 requiredEducation:Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experienceEnglish fluency is required------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Institutional Banking------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Corporate Banking------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above.------------------------------------------------------Other Relevant Skills For complementary skills, please see above and/or contact the recruiter.------------------------------------------------------
