Cloud EngineerWe are seeking an experienced professional to support and develop new tools and processes for our private cloud application.As a key member of our team, you will communicate technical concepts clearly, facilitate discussions, collaborate with stakeholders, provide project updates, and mentor team members.Key Responsibilities:Develop high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the main programming language;Design and deliver high-quality solutions and code;Develop unit tests to improve the software development life cycle (SDLC);Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration;Participate in all aspects of an agile software development process;Collaborate with a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carrier-grade development;Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform for deploying private cloud platforms aimed at 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.Essential Skills:Solid backend development skills in Python, preferably with Linux Essentials knowledge;Moderate understanding of hardware, processes, programs, and Linux Operating System components;Proficiency in working with files and creating compressed backups and archives;System security knowledge, including users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories;Familiarity with scripting and interested in developing a highly distributed orchestration platform supporting multiple vendors;Strong computer networking knowledge, including TCP/UDP layers;Experience with cloud computing concepts;Collaboration experience across remote teams and time zones, as well as with Senior Technical Leaders;Familiarity with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools;Experience with container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes;Kubernetes Cluster Administration experience, including designing infrastructure involving one or more clusters, configuring, controlling, and monitoring clusters;Experience with Helm and other relevant tools.Desirable Skills:Experience with Kubernetes App Development;PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ development experience;
