About the OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Backend Software Developer to join our team, powering internal and external billing services.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Go and a solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.The successful candidate will design, build, and maintain Go-based microservices for our billing systems, develop and integrate RESTful APIs with external financial and operational systems, and collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams to deliver new features and maintain operational excellence.Design and develop scalable and efficient Go-based microservices for our billing systems.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with external financial and operational systems using Go.Work with event-driven systems and streaming architectures using Kafka.Manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.Collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams to deliver new features and maintain operational excellence.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across distributed systems.Required Skills and Qualifications5+ years of professional backend development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Go.Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend microservices.Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment.Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka or similar).Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
