To do so, we rely on a dynamic, culturally diverse group of employees, working in more than 100 countries, in a variety of challenging roles.Schedule & Location:This is an exempt, full-time, office-based position in Sao Paulo, Brazil with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week depending on business needs.Testing: Candidates will be required to pass an English assessment.Relocation is not offered for this position.This position performs moderately complex routine and non-routine accounting and administrative work including compilation, consolidation, reconciliation, analysis of financial reports/ data, and accounts payable to support management.
Also provides explanatory statements or presentations to bring unusual accounting issues or concerns to the attention of accounting management.Responsibilities Include But Not Limited ToPrepares reports and conducts moderately complex analysis of financial data on a timely basisPrepares ledgers and makes journal entries – (accounting closing)Is responsible for Account Payable, Travel expenses reporting, and other administrative activitiesPrepare financial reportsManage databases for travel expenses reportingPrepares detailed schedules supporting figures contained in financial statementsReconciles information with financial system dataParticipates in special projects to provide moderately complex accounting information and supportMay conduct investigations of accounts if neededCommunicates with operating or staff personnel to supply or explain data, secure information, or offer additional supportMay provide advice on accounting-related issues, using proven and documented principles to support recommendationsPerforms other duties as assignedEducationBachelor's degree in accounting/finance requiredWork Experience2+ years of general accounting/financial reporting experienceProficiency managing databases, creating pivot tables and leveraging formulas in excel required.Experience with corporate tax strongly preferred
