Job Title: Data Engineering ExpertWe're seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead data engineering initiatives, leveraging expertise in scalable data pipelines, Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring seamless data ingestion, transformation, and publication of high-quality datasets and visualizations.Design and implement efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake.Ingest, clean, and transform diverse data sources (APIs, SQL databases, cloud storage, SAP/legacy systems, streaming).Develop reusable pipeline frameworks, data validation logic, and performance-tuned transformations.Deliver curated datasets and insights through Power BI dashboards.Implement best practices for lakehouse development, orchestration, and version control.Troubleshoot pipeline performance issues and ensure data accuracy, reliability, and quality.Key Requirements:Advanced Databricks experience (Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake).Expertise in SQL for large-scale data processing.Experience integrating data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.Strong understanding of distributed computing, performance tuning, and debugging Spark jobs.Power BI (reports, models, DAX preferred).CI/CD pipeline experience in an Azure environment.Nice to Have:Knowledge of Airflow, ADF, IoT, Kafka or other tools is beneficial.Experience with data quality frameworks, Lakehouse monitoring, or DQX.Background in SAP data integration is a plus.
