This role is a 12-month engagement, full-time hours per week, focused on Sao Paulo to support our teams and collaboration.
We collaborate with global campuses as well as contractors and freelancers worldwide, with flexible, remote-friendly working arrangements.
What You'd Be Doing In This Role
Canva's SEO is world-class and we're looking for a passionate SEO Outreach Specialist to join the International SEO team to scale growth in Brazil.
The SEO Outreach Specialist will be responsible for building high-quality backlinks to improve the SEO performance of important landing pages.
You will work with the Brazil SEO Country Lead (and the Global Outreach lead) to set targets for the number of links, identify suitable link-building tactics, build lists of relevant prospects, and execute end-to-end outreach to secure high-quality links.
We follow a completely white-hat approach to link building at Canva, adhere to strict quality guidelines, and benefit from a well-established playbook and ideation opportunities with the global outreach team.
Work with the SEO Country Lead (and Global Outreach lead) to identify landing pages that would benefit from backlinks on our Brazil-focused SEO pages and set campaign targets
Identify a list of backlink prospects for each campaign following Canva's outreach playbook
Write and send quality outreach emails tailored to the campaign and the recipient
Develop and maintain relationships with website owners to build a contact network for future campaigns
Maintain reporting spreadsheets to track progress toward goals and communicate with the SEO Country Lead (and Global Outreach lead) if targets are at risk
Contribute to continual improvement of the global outreach strategy by sharing learnings with the wider outreach team
About You
You are a fluent Portuguese speaker with business-level English
You are a positive, enthusiastic person with good written communication skills
You have some experience in a marketing-related field such as sales, PR, media, or SEO
You pay close attention to detail and can follow detailed written instructions; you thrive in a team that relies on tried-and-tested processes

The international SEO team is responsible for improving the SEO performance of logged-out pages across the Canva website.
