ResponsibilitiesProvide expert advice on employment law issues, including:Hiring practicesEmployment contractsTerminationsBenefitsWorkplace policiesEmployee relationsEnsure the company complies with local, regional, and international employment laws and regulations.Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and other related legal documents.Manage employment disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.Develop and update internal policies and procedures to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.Provide training and guidance to HR and management teams on employment law matters and compliance.Monitor changes in employment legislation and advise on potential impacts to the company.Handle cross-border employment matters, including expatriate arrangements and global mobility programs.Advise on classification of workers (e.g., employees vs. independent contractors), especially in the gig economy context.Collaborate with HR, compliance, and operations teams to support business objectives.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of employment law within Brazil and the LATAM region preferably but not necessarily as well as experience dealing with international labor regulations.This role involves advising on a broad range of employment matters ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and supporting our HR and management teams in making informed decisions.Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice on employment law issues including hiring practices employment contracts terminations benefits workplace policies and employee relations Ensure the company complies with local regional and international employment laws and regulations Draft review and negotiate employment agreements consultancy contracts and other related legal documents Manage employment disputes and litigation coordinating with external counsel as needed Develop and update internal policies and procedures to reflect current legal requirements and best practices Provide training and guidance to HR and management teams on employment law matters and compliance Monitor changes in employment legislation and advise on potential impacts to the company Handle cross border employment matters including expatriate arrangements and global mobility programs Advise on classification of workers such as employees versus independent contractors especially in the gig economy context Collaborate with HR compliance and operations teams to support business objectives#J-*****-Ljbffr
