We are seeking a remote, full-time Senior Software Engineer with 8 to 12 years of software programming experience, including a strong background in Golang, Kubernetes, major cloud platforms, and CI/CD.You will fully automate provisioning, deployment, management, and monitoring for a rapidly evolving and highly scalable set of Saa S services.You will work with members of the Dev Ops team alongside a Dev Ops architect to ensure best practices are implemented across applications, lead teams in the direction of initiatives, such as CI/CD and enterprise monitoring, and work on support services operational on the cloud.You are the ideal candidate if you enjoy improving engineering efficiency, mentoring junior team members, promoting best practices, and solving problems by digging into the technical details.Our client was named a Top 25 Cybersecurity Company by The Software Report and one of Inc.Magazine's Best Places to Work in ****.The company is a leader in cloud-based networking and security services.Their services empower organizations to optimize cloud usage, delivering network experiences that are simple, scalable, and reliable.The client counts 70% of the Fortune 500 companies as customers.Responsibilities Develop, design, and maintain features that empower developer productivity Design and implement components of the client's next-generation, internal developer platform Recommend ways to improve system reliability, efficiency, and quality Work closely with various cross-functional product teams Stay up-to-date on key trends, especially in the area of technologies and frameworks like Kubernetes, Docker, ELK/Prometheus, and more Own platform engineering Develop REST APIs and contribute to the overall API framework Use multiple open software to build a developer platform Required Experience Excellent English communication skills 8 to 12 years of experience in software development using programming languages Experience with Golang, including building API and web services Experience with Dev Ops technologies and methodologies, including Kubernetes, major cloud platforms (preferably AWS), and CI/CD Solid understanding of microservices architecture and container-based software, such as Docker Experience developing microservices and using Cloud Services API Strong focus on reliability and security Solid exposure to application performance tuning, memory management, and scalability Ability to design highly scalable distributed systems using different open-source technologies Desired Experience University degree or equivalent educational experience (preferably in a STEM field) Additional container technologies besides Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Amazon Web Services, such as EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, and Cloud Formation, or equivalent services in GCP and/or Azure Additional Info Enjoy a fun, fast-growing entrepreneurial company Be part of a highly collaborative learning culture, share knowledge, be inclusive, learn, and grow together.Embrace teamworkKnowing your ideas are heard and matter – think bigYou get to own your job and be recognized for your contributions Work with innovative and creative people Making mistakes is human.Let's learn from them.Be transparentWe recognize you as an individual – no presumptions or judgment.Be the extraordinary you15 days Paid Time Off (PTO), one floating day, three sick days, and designated national holidays Start: ASAP
