Join to apply for the Software Engineer - C# role at BraintrustAbout PyyneJob DescriptionPyyne is a modern technology consultancy engineering the next generation of digital products and services.At Pyyne, we believe in using technology to unlock business potential, create sustainable growth, and drive forward digital excellence.Our solutions range from advanced Software Engineering, Cloud, and Data & AI solutions.Job SummaryPyyne is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer with experience working with .NET C# to work as a Consultant for a large US-based Insurance client out of our Brazilian Office.A successful candidate in this role will be a capable individual contributor, able to plan and build software systems and maintain the existing codebase.The Pyyne team will interact regularly and directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in the client organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core and C#Build responsive user interfaces using MVC architecture and React componentsDevelop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queriesImplement Entity Framework for data access layer and ORM functionalityApply dependency injection principles and design patterns for scalable application architectureCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsParticipate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the teamTroubleshoot and resolve production issues in insurance applications and systemsMust Have Skills:2+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile work environmentProficiency in .NET Framework/.NET Core and C# programmingExperience with ASP.NET MVC for web application developmentExperience with React.js and modern JavaScript ES6+Proficient in SQL Server, including query optimization and database designKnowledge of dependency injection patterns and IoC containersExperience with RESTful API development and integrationProficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principlesNice to Have Skills:Experience in insurance domain or financial services industry in a consulting capacityExperience with Entity FrameworkKnowledge of Azure cloud services and deployment strategiesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience with automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Jest)Benefits:Salary Range from 32,000 USD to 40,000 USDFlexible remote working environmentCareer development opportunities in a fast-growing companySeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Technology, Information and InternetReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Braintrust by 2x#J-*****-Ljbffr
