Job Title: Lead Ai Development EngineerWe are seeking a remote, full-time software developer with expertise in AI and ML technologies.Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in developing scalable software solutions.The ideal candidate should be proficient in React.js and one or more back-end technologies such as Golang, Node.js, or Java.About the RoleDesign and implement front-end applications using React.js.Develop and maintain APIs, services, and distributed systems that form the backbone of our technology stack.Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services into back-end systems.Transform legacy workflows into modern, secure, scalable codebases using cloud-native best practices.Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulations.RequirementsExcellent English communication skills.5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environments.Strong proficiency in React, Python, and either Golang, Node.js, or Java.Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teams.Basic proficiency with AI/ML tooling (e.g., calling APIs, integrating model outputs).Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), message queues, and distributed architectures.Cloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).Clear communicator, adaptable, eager to learn and grow AI capabilities over time.Strong sense of ownership and accountability in small teams.About YouUniversity degree or relevant industry experience.Experience working on ERP systems or within the power utilities industry.You will work in small, agile teams reporting directly to the CTO, collaborating closely with AI engineers, security leaders, and product managers.Together, you will build and deliver AI-native services delivered at startup speed.
