Distinguished Linux Systems Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Linux systems architect to lead the development and implementation of real-time data systems for a leading investment bank.The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions that ensure uptime and performance for global trading and data services.Key Responsibilities:Root cause analysis and resolution of data quality issues in collaboration with internal and external vendors.Support on-call, incident management, problem, and change management processes.Implementation of monitoring tools to detect data issues and ensure optimal accuracy and timeliness of data on a real-time basis.Collaboration with regional and global market data infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience and enrich the team's capability.L2 alert management, creating and/or updating resolutions into knowledge bases, run books, scripts, and IT rules where possible.Incident management, managing the incident lifecycle from identification to resolution, ensuring mitigation of business impact in the production environment.Change management, management of the process of making production changes to the ticker plant, including mandatory updates, software changes/upgrades performed by vendors or internal teams.Requirements:Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.Highly skilled in Linux system administration.Experience in Windows operating systems.Scripting proficiency (Bash and/or Python preferred).Experience with networking and connectivity skills, e.g., multicast, routing, switches, TCP/IP.Good communication and oral and written English skills.Understanding of ITIL foundation and IT best practices.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Benefits:The opportunity to work with a leading investment bank.A competitive salary and benefits package.The chance to work with a talented team of professionals.Others:Release management.Event management.User support.Reporting.
