Collaboration drives Nordson's success as a market leader in Industrial Precision Solutions and Advanced Technology.Our employees thrive in an environment where we help each other reach our personal best and enable our company to continuously improve and grow, and our customers to succeed.You will find Nordson employees sharing our success by giving back in the communities around the world where we live and work.Performs a broad range of duties in support of the accounting department: providing training and work direction to accounting, tax, cash flow, accounts payable and receivable team members, assist with audits and metrics, review and streamline processes with focus on automation, and other related responsibilities in accounting.Provide financial support to outside, ensure Usgaap timeline and accurately report.Responsibilities to compliance, regulatory and tributary obligations, and assist audits.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms a wide range of functions in support of the Accounting Department, including: * Providing training and guidance to team members across accounting, tax, cash flow, accounts payable and accounts receivable.* Assisting with internal and external audits, as well as financial metrics and reporting.* Reviewing and optimizing processes with a focus on automation and efficiency.* Ensuring compliance with US GAAP reporting standards and timelines, while delivering accurate financial reports.* Reviewing and approving financial statements for the business unit.* Overseeing compliance with regulatory, tax, and financial obligations.* Supporting external financial stakeholders and contributing to audit readiness and performance tracking.* Analyze data to make informed decisions about the operations of the team * Other duties as assignedEducation and Experience RequirementsEducation * Associate Degree in Business Administration with an Accounting focus or equivalent work experience.Experience * Requires 5+ years of related experience in Accounting, preference for multinational companies * Supervisory experience preferredPreferred Skills and Abilities * Must possess integrity, ability to appropriately manage sensitive information, the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented business environment and a flexible professional and self-directed work approach.* Successfully leading teams * Strong critical thinking skills and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively * Excellent verbal, written, and virtual communication skills English and Portugues * High level proficiency in Microsoft tools, Power BI or similar automations tools * Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills * Outstanding customer focus including attributes of empathy, compassion and service orientation * Passionate and high energy which can assist in selling future vision to customers * Adaptability/flexibility which includes being open to change and conducting business differently * Focused on continuous learning and developing new skills * Savvy with technology which includes use of web-based platforms, case management, etc.Working Conditions and Physical DemandsOffice environment.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Travel RequiredMinimal
