Your key responsibilities will include:Collaborate – Work closely with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to enhance operations and solve challenges together.

Take Responsibility – Own the design, implementation, and optimization of mechanical systems that improve efficiency and reliability.Drive Growth – Identify and integrate new technologies, streamline processes, and develop solutions that support both personal and company growth.Additional responsibilities: Designing & Implementing mechanical systems for veneer and plywood production Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving mechanical issues on the production floor Implementing Preventative Maintenance strategies to enhance reliability Ensuring Compliance with safety and environmental regulationsWhat We're Looking ForAt least 5 years Mechanical Engineering or related field experienceDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldExperience in industrial/manufacturing environments (wood products experience a plus)Strong knowledge of mechanical design, automation, and preventative maintenanceHands-on approach with a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solvingPassion for continuous improvement and lean manufacturingExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in all tasksProactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision to diagnose and resolve maintenance issuesWhy Join Us?
