Role Overview :We are looking for a highly experienced Business Systems Administrator who will serve as the primary owner and subject-matter expert for our ERP system.This individual will be fully responsible for the configuration, accuracy, day-to-day operation, and optimization of Epicor P21 across sales, inventory, purchasing, and reporting, with additional support for light accounting and bookkeeping functions.EXPERIENCE WITH EPICOR PROPHET 21 IS A MUST.This role requires deep, hands-on P21 expertise in a wholesale or distribution environment and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.Location: RemoteRole: Full-TimeHours: Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM ESTRate: $8 / hourCore Responsibilities :Epicor P21 Ownership (Primary Responsibility)Act as the system owner and P21 subject-matter expertConfigure, maintain, and optimize Epicor P21 to support business operationsOwn end-to-end workflows including :Quotes, sales orders, invoicing, creditsPurchasing, receiving, and vendor managementInventory management across one or more warehousesManage customer pricing structures, contracts, and margin controlsMonitor system accuracy, data integrity, and performanceIdentify and resolve system issues, errors, and inefficienciesServe as the main point of contact with Epicor support and external consultantsCreate and maintain SOPs and internal documentation for P21 processesInventory, Sales & Purchasing OperationsEnsure accurate inventory levels, replenishment, and demand planningOversee backorders, partial shipments, and fulfillment workflowsSupport sales and operations teams with system guidance and reportingTrack KPIs including sales, margins, inventory turns, and order accuracyReporting & Data ManagementBuild and maintain standard and custom P21 reportsDeliver recurring and ad-hoc reports for leadershipEnsure reporting accuracy for operational and financial decision-makingLight Accounting & Bookkeeping SupportSupport AR and AP workflows within P21Assist with invoicing, payment tracking, and PO-to-invoice matchingPerform basic reconciliations and data reviewsSupport month-end close preparation and coordination with accountantsRequired QualificationsAdvanced, hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21)Proven experience acting as a P21 administrator or system ownerStrong background in wholesale / distribution operationsDeep understanding of :Inventory management and purchasing workflowsComplex pricing structures and margin controlsERP-driven order-to-cash processesExperience supporting accounting functions (AR / AP, invoicing, reconciliations)Ability to work independently and take full ownership of systemsStrong problem-solving and documentation skillsExcellent attention to detail and data accuracyPreferred / Nice to HaveExperience with multi-warehouse or high-SKU environmentsERP implementation, migration, or optimization experienceFamiliarity with U.S. accounting processesExperience training users on Epicor P21What Success Looks LikeEpicor P21 operates accurately and efficiently with minimal rsInventory, sales, and purchasing data are consistently reliableLeadership has clear, timely reporting for decision-makingThe business relies on this role as the go-to expert for P21#J-*****-Ljbffr
