OverviewWho We Are: Quest Global delivers world-class end-to-end engineering solutions by leveraging our deep industry knowledge and digital expertise.By bringing together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals and their areas of expertise, we are able to solve problems better, faster.This multi-dimensional approach enables us to solve the most critical and large-scale challenges across the aerospace & defense, automotive, energy, hi-tech, healthcare, medical devices, rail and semiconductor industries.What You Will DoThe Software Test Engineer is responsible for evaluating the testing requirements, creating new test cases, and test schedules for new software developments.Primary responsibilities include the execution of test cases and scenarios within the integrated test environment at the customer location.Reproduce and document the defects, and report the findings.Ensure established methodologies and standards are used during testing.In addition, you will be the face of Quest Global to our customer.Listen to customer's problems, and build on the experiences you have personally had, then develop innovative ways to solve their engineering problems.Hardware-Software Integration Testing at Sub-System level of embedded vehicle controls systemsUnderstand testing requirements, write test cases for sub-systems in DOORS, generate results and prepare for review.Utilize an integrated test environment and physical hardware at customer location.Interact with multiple stakeholders at all the levels (Design Engineers/Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, etc.)Reproduce and create defects for issues discovered during system testPerform regression testing to validate the resolution of any software or system defects.Track issues, risks, and action itemsWhat You Will BringBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) from an accredited college or university.1-3 years of experience in software testingMust be able to climb stairs to safely board vehicles and perform analysis on board operating vehicles and in test cellsAbility and willingness to work "hands-on" in test labs and on heavy equipment vehicles with high HP ***** KVA), medium voltage (2 KV) and high current (10 KA) systemsAbility to effectively use DOOR's, Clearquest, Electrical Multi-Meters, Variable Resistance 'Decade" Boxes, MS Office 365 (& associated apps.) ******* CAN or ethernet communication protocols & Data Capture ToolsStrong communication skills in both Portuguese and English, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environmentStrong analytic skills including Trouble Shooting and Root Cause AnalysisLike to work in a fast paced, creative environmentFamiliarity with heavy equipment vehicles is highly preferredWork RequirementsThis role is considered an on-site position located in Contagem, MG, Brazil.You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.#J-*****-Ljbffr
