Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.
This role will focus on analyzing operational business data and transforming it into meaningful insights and actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Collect and extract data from databases using advanced queries and data modeling.
Utilize data analysis techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights from complex datasets.
Develop reports to provide valuable insights to stakeholders that will support data-driven decision-making.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand and identify business needs and document reporting requirements.
Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to anticipate future trends and outcomes, helping in strategic planning.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting by validating data integrity.
Maintain documentation of reports, queries, and data processes.
Identify opportunities to improve data-related processes, data quality, and reporting efficiency, resolving data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Stay updated with the latest BI trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating best practices into work, to improve reporting capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field/experience.
3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
Experienced in SQL and advanced SQL queries, to extract and manipulate data.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and how to design effective data structures for reporting and analysis.
Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, and/or other data visualization tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
