About Us: Temu tax team ensures compliance with local and international tax laws while optimizing the company's tax position.We handle tax planning, reporting, and risk management, working closely with other departments to drive efficiencies.Our dynamic team offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced, evolving environment, valuing accuracy and innovative problem-solving.We are seeking a proactive and experienced Tax BP to support our tax compliance and audit activities in Brazil.This role will be critical in ensuring full compliance with Brazilian tax regulations, managing tax audits, and acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external tax authorities.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Brazilian tax legislation, excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Job descriptionThe Tax Senior / Manager will be responsible for the management of indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning, ensuring compliance with current legislation and the optimization of the tax burden;Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS / COFINS, ICMS, ISS, etc.Monitor tax compliance processes and work closely with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met.Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, including coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities.Analyze changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance.Desired profileEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law.Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.Solid experience in indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning;Knowledge in Tax reform;Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders;LanguageFluent in Portuguese (native proficiency).Fluent in English (written & spoken) – must liaise with global teams.Equal Employment StatementAt Temu, we are proud to be an employer that builds a diverse community.We encourage all qualified individuals to apply and join our team.We are dedicated to providing a work environment free from discrimination and harassment, where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.Apply today to join Temu and be part of a dynamic and innovative company.#J-*****-Ljbffr
