Quality Assurance Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our software engineering team.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Scrum Team to understand new features and ensure thorough testing.Translate user stories into detailed test cases, ensuring adequate test scope.Analyze test results to verify correct functionality and work with the team for defect resolution.Maintain accurate testing-related documentation in JIRA and Confluence.Participate in software releases and work independently with minimal oversight.Required Qualifications:Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.6 months to 2 years of work experience.Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or relevant work experience instead of a degree.Working knowledge of Agile development practices.Ability to learn technology quickly.High attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office-type tools, such as Excel and Word.Logically break down testing paths to cover all scenarios.Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):General quality assurance experience.JavaScript development experience.Performance testing experience.Selenium, Postman, or Nightwatch experience.AWS knowledge and experience.Azure VM experience.Working knowledge of SQL.
