Visit our website or our career page HEREJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Public Affairs Jr. Manager LATAM to join our team and contribute to the development of government relations strategies in Latin America.The role involves building and strengthening relationships with domestic and foreign governments, executing robust risk and policy analysis through a network of public and private sector contacts, and setting government-related policies to support local teams solve business challenges while supporting the identification and development of new business opportunities.The role also involves coordinating the communication and planning of the GR activities of the other countries in LATAM- including organization of internal events.If you have strong government relations skills, are proactive, and are eager to make a positive impact on our business in the region, this is the perfect opportunity for you.Key Job ResponsabilitiesEstablish a relationship with the local government affairs teams of the LATAM market that Samsung operatesEstablish a continuous relationship with local and foreign governments which are relevant to our businesses.Guide government relations teams in subsidiaries in the development and implementation of Government relations action plans for relevant issues for SamsungPreemptive sensing and reporting: Sense local and foreign governments' institution (policy, law, regulation, etc.) preemptively and support decision making in a timely manner.Responding to and solving external issues: solve various issues in a timely manner (resolving regulation-related issues and difficulties which reflect the government's policies, minimizing risks, supporting investment, etc.)Coordinate the planning and relationship between the LATAM subsidiaries: ensuring the promoting of best practices, organizing internal events.Understanding of LATAM countries political and economic scenario to map trends, issues and opportunitiesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Law, Public Relations, International Relations, Business Administration, Economy, or related fields.Experience in Public Affairs.Advanced Excel and Office skills.Advanced English skills.Advanced Spanish skills will be considered a plus.Why is Samsung Electronics the place to be?Join a Global TeamWork with a dynamic and diverse team, constantly interacting with different cultures.Tackle Big ChallengesOur history is built on overcoming challenges and striving for excellence.
