About CoderioCoderio designs and delivers scalable digital solutions for global companies.With a strong technical foundation and a product-oriented mindset, our teams lead complex software projects from architecture through execution.We value autonomy, clear communication, and technical excellence.We work closely with international teams and partners, building technology that creates real impact.More information:In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing payment operations and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy, control, and visibility across multiple payment flows.You will work closely with Finance, Payments, and external providers to monitor automated reconciliations, analyze exceptions, and resolve discrepancies.Your focus will be on maintaining data integrity, supporting audit readiness, and identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency within the payments ecosystem, while operating with a high level of autonomy and attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesConfigure, monitor, and maintain automated reconciliation flows using Simetrik, integrating multiple data sources such as bank files, payment gateway APIs, and internal records.Identify, analyze, and resolve transaction exceptions and discrepancies flagged by the platform, ensuring data accuracy and operational continuity.Ensure accounting records match real cash movements, maintaining a single source of truth ready for internal and external audits (e.g. SOC, Basel compliance).Monitor correct fee charging by acquirers and payment processors to detect revenue leakage and prevent financial losses.Generate reports and dashboards providing visibility into cash flow by payment method and currency.Collaborate closely with Finance, Payments, Risk, and external providers to ensure smooth end-to-end payment operations.Identify opportunities for process automation, standardization, and continuous improvement within payment operations.Requirements3+ years of experience in Payment Operations, Reconciliations, or Fintech Operations roles.Strong hands-on experience with Simetrik (reconciliation rules, matching keys, tolerances, and mappings).Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).Solid understanding of the payments ecosystem: acquiring, card networks, payment gateways, bank reconciliation, and settlement processes.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple reconciliation flows simultaneously.Nice to haveBasic knowledge of SQL or experience working with large datasets / Big Data tools.Experience working in regulated financial environments.Previous exposure to audit processes or compliance frameworks.Experience collaborating with international or cross-functional teams.Benefits100% remoteLong-term commitment, with autonomy and impactStrategic, high-visibility role within a modern engineering cultureCollaborative international team and strong technical leadershipCareer plan with growth and leadership opportunities within CoderioWhy join Coderio?At Coderio, we value talent regardless of location.We are a remote-first company, passionate about technology, collaborative work, and fair compensation.We offer an inclusive, challenging environment with real opportunities for growth.If you are motivated by building impactful solutions, we are waiting for you.Apply now.We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment.Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.#J-*****-Ljbffr
