Raw Material Planner

Job SummaryKey role for the plant responsible for creating and maintaining weekly and daily detailed production / supply schedules to meet customer demand requirements.Key interface between plant OP' teams, Master planners, and customer service to ensure all requirements are satisfied to deliver to our customers.Job Description:- Plan both short- and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory needs- Facilitate collaboration meetings with stakeholders and vendors to review purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and other operational issues- Monitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and retail distribution- Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory- Solve problems of raw material shortages;- Liaise with the local material coordinators/ site supply chain managers to ensure a smooth and aligned day-to-day planning process;- Optimization and continuous improvement of material availability; global inventory days; inventory write-off; and obsolete/slow moving inventory.- Design and create new tools to help improve the planning functions of supply chain- Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contractsRequisitos:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields.- 3-5 years experience in operational planning or a similar role (logística, CS)- Knowledge of MS Office tools (specially Excel)- Excellent business English communication skills (will be tested on interview conversation)- Effective communication skills- Analytical and quantitative skills- Ability to handle high-pressure situations- Accountability- Continuous improvement attitude- Availability to work from Taubate's Site (2-3x per week at office)Desirable:Power BISpanish - intermediateWe are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.At IFF, we believe that your uniqueness unleashes our potential.We value the diverse mosaic of the ethnicity, national origin, race, age, sex, or veteran status.We strive for an inclusive workplace that allows each of our colleagues to bring their authentic self to work regardless of their religion, gender identity & expression, sexual orientation, or disability.Visitto learn more
