We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our client's SOC 2 compliance efforts in SaaS environments.This role requires collaboration with AI engineers, security leaders, and product managers to build and deliver AI-native services at startup speed.Our client is building an AI-centric operating system for utilities, harnessing AI at the enterprise level to better orchestrate customer delight, facilitate power optimization, enhance grid health, and unlock flexibility at scale.The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for SOC 2 Compliance Management, Continuous Monitoring, Policy Development, Vendor Risk Management, Audit Support, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Training and Awareness, Reporting and Metrics, and Staying Updated on evolving compliance frameworks and security standards.Required Experience:Excellent English communication skills3+ years of experience in compliance, information security, or risk managementHands-on experience with Vanta or similar compliance automation platformsProven track record of successfully managing SOC 2 auditsStrong understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud security, and data privacy principlesDesired Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related fieldRelevant certificationsFamiliarity with Vanta's AI Agent and other advanced features for GRC automationExperience working with startups, mid-market, or enterprise organizations in a SaaS environmentExperience working on ERP systems or within the power utilities industry
