Building the Future of EnergyA pioneering opportunity awaits an exceptional Principal Software Architect to drive the development of AI-native energy solutions.As a key contributor, you will play a foundational role in shaping the core platform that enables power utilities to transition from legacy systems to an innovative AI-driven future.This role requires a strong background in software architecture, system design, and coding fundamentals.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborating with AI engineers, security leaders, and product managers to deliver high-quality services at startup speed.The ideal candidate will have expertise in React.js and experience with either Golang, Node.js, or Java, with a strong desire to adopt Golang as the primary back-end technology.Proficiency in AI tools and APIs is essential to ensure seamless integration of intelligent functionality into our client's products.In this position, you will be responsible for front-end development, back-end architecture and development, AI integration, system modernization, security and compliance, and agile delivery.You will also have the opportunity to contribute to a highly collaborative learning culture, share knowledge, and learn from your colleagues.Our client is developing an AI-centric operating system for utilities, harnessing AI at the enterprise level to enhance customer satisfaction, optimize power distribution, improve grid health, and unlock flexibility at scale.This transformative initiative has the potential to revolutionize how utilities operate and how customers experience energy.Key Responsibilities:Front-End Development: Design, implement, and maintain front-end applications.Back-End Architecture & Development: Design, implement, and maintain APIs, services, and distributed systems that form the backbone of our client's OS.AI Integration: Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services into back-end systems, ensuring outputs are production-ready and aligned with utility requirements.System Modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern, secure, scalable codebases using cloud-native best practices.Security & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulations, implementing secure coding practices by default.Agile Delivery: Deliver features and improvements in cycles measured in weeks, balancing speed with reliability.
