Job Title: Senior CMDB & Automation ExpertWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior CMDB & Automation Expert to lead the redesign and implementation of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within Jira Service Management (JSM).The successful candidate will architect the future state of the configuration management practice, enhancing operational stability and security posture.Delivering a sustainable, automated, and high-integrity CMDB that provides real-time, accurate data visibility.Key Responsibilities:Conduct a comprehensive diagnostic of the existing JSM Assets environment.Identify data quality issues and architectural limitations.Engage with key stakeholders to define essential CMDB use cases.Architect a scalable, service-centric CMDB model and taxonomy within JSM Assets.Design and document a Governance Framework defining data ownership, roles, responsibilities, and change control processes.Define a data federation strategy.Implement the approved CMDB architecture within JSM.Develop automated integrations between the CMDB and key systems using enterprise iPaaS platforms.Migrate existing Okta Workflows into the iPaaS for improved governance and scalability.Deliver comprehensive documentation for integrations, data models, and governance processes.Build Jira dashboards to provide visibility into CMDB health and accuracy.Ensure the designed solution is fully documented and ready for transition to the client's internal IT team.
