The Role The Purchasing Analyst will be responsible for procurement area routines related to the acquisition of imported and domestic raw materials, consumables and MRO, ensuring the supply of materials to fulfill Production plans and meet sales expectations.
This role involves follow-up of the entire process from placing orders with suppliers, monitoring material collections, transit of shipments by different modes until arrival in Manaus, customs clearance until receipt at the company.
Key Responsibilities: Perform local and national quotations for productive/unproductive materials, inputs and services that meet the organization's specifications Develop and qualify new suppliers together with other departments involved in the negotiation Register new suppliers Send purchase orders within the organization's specifications and needs Monitor collection, shipment and transit time with carriers of purchase orders until they arrive at the factory Keep purchase orders updated in the ERP system (quantities, payment term and date of arrival at the company) Prepare the Export documents that are required by the competent bodies for Customs Clearance Monitor collection, shipment, transit time and endorsement of documents related to the export processes, with carriers, until they arrive at the customer Prepare, collect signatures and forward advance payment requests to the Finance Department Support to the Sales team in the acquisition of waste and management of Export processes Development and evaluation of suppliers, including services and logistics regarding import and export, as well as monitoring of Customs Clearance Support to the Quality and HSE team in the Integrated Management System – SGI Related activities in the Supply Chain area (Sales Forecast, Planning, Receiving and Shipping) Production chain costs (customs, freight, materials, etc.) Supply management tools (suppliers, contracts, quotes, etc.) Qualifications: Degree in Logistics or related fields (required) Postgraduate degree in Administration or related fields is desirable Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing processes Must be located in Manaus (this is an on-site position, 5 days per week) Advanced or fluent English proficiency (must be able to communicate effectively with international stakeholders) Experience with ERP systems required Experience and knowledge in the purchasing area, with experience in companies in the industrial hub of Manaus Understanding of customs procedures for importing and exporting Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Experience with supplier KPIs (delivery timing, cost savings, negotiation) What We Offer: Comprehensive healthcare benefits Professional development opportunities Employee recognition programs Collaborative team environment Bonus Incentive Program Educational Program Undergraduate and English Course Additional competitive benefits package (details to be discussed during interview) This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values autonomy, professional development, and a positive work culture.
