We are seeking an accomplished Artificial Intelligence Engineer to develop and deploy intelligent systems that transform the way banks and credit unions understand and serve small business customers.The selected candidate will design and build systems integrating large language models into production, support analytics, and lay groundwork for next-generation customer experience.Key Responsibilities:Design and build production-grade generative and agentic AI systems.Fine-tune and integrate third-party models into platform and customer workflows.Develop and maintain pipelines, tools, and infrastructure delivering reliable and scalable AI features.Collaborate with engineering team to deploy and monitor AI services in production.Establish best practices for AI evaluation, safety, and continuous improvement.Help define AI technical strategy and roadmap.Requirements:Strong experience designing, building, and productionizing AI-driven or agentic systems.Deep understanding of LLM orchestration, context management, and prompt engineering.Experience with cloud environments and monitoring or evaluating deployed AI services.Experience working with APIs and SDKs from leading model providers.Proficiency in Python and familiarity with backend integration workflows.Comfort working in fast-moving teams with limited technical oversight.Excellent communication skills and proactive mindset.Bonus Points For:Familiarity with modern frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or DSPy.Experience with vector databases, embedding pipelines, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).Deep understanding of transformer architecture.Fintech or data-intensive SaaS experience.Benefits:Full remote position with structured schedule supporting work-life balance.Opportunity to make huge impact in early-stage company defining new category in financial technology.Two weeks of paid vacation per year.10 paid days for local holidays.
