Chief Operating Officer (COO) Location : São Paulo, Brazil Company : Global Freight Forwarder (Operating in 65+ Countries)About the CompanyOur client is a world-leading freight forwarding multinational with operations in over 65 countries, delivering innovative logistics solutions across air, ocean, and ground.They are recognised for their global reach, customer-centric approach, and commitment to operational excellence.Role OverviewWe are seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can step into the CEO role in the near future.This is a strategic leadership position for an all-rounder who combines operational expertise with commercial strength.The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, profitability, and growth while preparing to lead the organisation at the highest level.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational ExcellenceOversee end-to-end operations across all freight forwarding services.Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.Ensure compliance with global standards and local regulations.Commercial LeadershipDevelop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.Build strong relationships with key clients and partners.Negotiate major contracts and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.Strategic Vision & SuccessionWork closely with the current CEO and global leadership team on long-term strategy.Prepare to transition into the CEO role by demonstrating leadership, vision, and execution capability.Financial ManagementManage regional P& L, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.Monitor KPIs and deliver performance reports to the global board.Leadership & Talent DevelopmentLead, mentor, and inspire operational and commercial teams.Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession planning.Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience12+ years in senior leadership roles within freight forwarding or logistics.Proven track record in operational management and commercial strategy.Experience in leading large-scale teams and driving transformation.SkillsStrong business acumen and strategic mindset.Exceptional leadership and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.EducationBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).Why Join?Opportunity to lead operations and transition into the CEO role.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Be part of a global leader shaping the future of logistics.#J-*****-Ljbffr
