Systems Engineer (Fully Remote)We're looking for aSystems Engineerto help build, automate, and support development and test environments across a large-scale platform.You'll play a key role in designing, deploying, and optimising cloud and on-prem environments that support critical applications from build through to production support.What you'll doBuild and manage development & test environments across on-prem and AWS platformsAutomate infrastructure and platform tasks usingPython,Ansible, andFluxDeploy and support applications onKubernetes(including Helm-based deployments)Ensure seamless system integration, reliability, performance, and securityMonitor platforms and applications, implementing automated testing and health checksTroubleshoot complex platform and deployment issuesCollaborate closely with development and operations teamsWhat you'll bringStrong automation and scripting experience withPythonHands-on experience withKubernetesand containerised platformsExperience deploying applications usingHelmUnderstanding ofJSONand its relationship toYANGSolid grasp of cyber security principles and complianceFoundational networking knowledgeStrong communication and collaboration skillsNice to haveExperience with tools/technologies such as Kafka, Elastic stack, Redis, MongoDB, PostgresAWS services includingEKS, Lambda, Cognito, API GatewayNetwork and infrastructure tooling (NetBox, Juniper, Cisco, MinIO)Testing frameworks such asBehaveorRobot FrameworkLocation:Fully RemoteRole type:ContractIf you enjoy building reliable platforms through automation and working across modern cloud and container technologies, we'd love to hear from you.
