Job Requirements At Quest Global, it's not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different.With over 25 years as an engineering services provider, we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible.Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place—to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future.We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster.Key ResponsibilitiesQuest is seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Cloud Engineer to oversee the management, security, and optimization of a diverse portfolio of more than 100 cloud-hosted applications.This hands-on role encompasses cloud infrastructure provisioning, automation, CI/CD pipeline development, performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance across AWS and other multi-cloud platforms.The position is based onsite at Quest's client location in Contagem, Brazil, with a requirement to work from the office five days a weekKey ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure ManagementProvision and manage AWS services: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53, etc.Implement infrastructure changes using Terraform/OpenTofu.Optimize cloud spend using FinOps best practices.Support multi-region and multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, OCI).Participate in cloud, security, and shared service meetings.Maintenance & UpkeepApply OS, application, and database updates.Rotate EC2 AMIs and credentials per security policy.Perform backups and recovery testing.Optimize performance through scaling and right-sizing.Security & ComplianceEnforce IAM best practices (least privilege, MFA, role-based access).Use Wiz, Tenable, and other tools for threat detection.Ensure encryption of data at rest and in transit.Participate in SOX audits and internal security reviews.Maintain CMDB and adhere to ITIL and change control processes.CI/CD & AutomationBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runner.Integrate SAST/DAST tools for code quality and security.Manage Docker images and Chef cookbooks for EC2 automation.Oversee GitLab organizations and deployment workflows.Monitoring & ReportingImplement monitoring tools: CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana.Create dashboards and executive reports on uptime and performance.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and incident resolution.Maintain SOPs and assist in developer onboarding.DeliverablesMonthly infrastructure health and performance reports.Quarterly updated cloud architecture diagrams and IaC templates.Bi-weekly security audit logs and change documentation.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.Technical SkillsAWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, etc.)Terraform/OpenTofu, ChefGitLab CI/CD, DockerMonitoring tools: CloudWatch, Datadog, GrafanaSecurity tools: Wiz, TenableScripting: Python, BashSoft SkillsStrong documentation and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Experience presenting to technical leadership and stakeholders.On-Call & SupportProvide 24x7 on-call support for infrastructure and application issues.Participate in incident management and RCA documentation.We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day.Questians are driven by hunger, humility, and aspiration.We believe that our company culture is the key to our ability to make a true difference in every industry we reach.Our teams regularly invest time and dedicated effort into internal culture work, ensuring that all voices are heard.We wholeheartedly believe in the diversity of thought that comes with fostering a culture rooted in respect, where everyone belongs, is valued, and feels inspired to share their ideas.We know embracing our unique differences makes us better, and that solving the worlds hardest engineering problems requires diverse ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds.We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21,000 difference-makers in our workplace.
