both from a productivity and environmental impact perspective.Just like atoms and machines, we believe that everyone is different and how individuals come together is what makes us successful.Headquartered in Adelaide and with team members based in Australia, Europe, Africa, North and South America, Chrysos Corporation's diverse team of scientists, engineers and industry specialists are coming together to build technologies to provide rapid, accurate and safe ore analysis for the global mining industry.The company's flagship technology, PhotonAssayTM, steps around centuries-old chemistry-based assay methods to deliver true 'atom-counting' analysis for the measurement of gold and other high-value metals.With successful global installations, Chrysos is taking PhotonAssayTM to customers around the world – Chrysos could take you to places that you might not have even imagined yet.There's opportunity around every corner and the support to help you achieve your goals.About The RoleThe Maintenance Specialist, with support from the rest of the team, will be providing firsthand technical support service to ensure the smooth running of Chrysos PhotonAssayTM equipment.This permanent full-time role supporting the Suriname site.(We are open to FIFO)What You Will DoMaintenance and service of PhotonAssayTM installations in Americas region.Scheduled monthly maintenance as well as responding to breakdowns on short notice to minimise downtime and maximise availability.Technical support service for the installations via telephone, email, and remote computer login for troubleshooting and performance checks during and out of office hours as agreed.This will involve liaising with support staff at Chrysos' headquarters and our technology partner in China.Training of the customer on the safe operation and maintenance of the equipment.Spares inventory management for each installation site.Complete maintenance and spares documentation and providing feedback to customers.Assisting in the development and continual improvement of the processes associated with the maintenance and service of PhotonAssayTM systems.Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new installations.Preparing fault records for statistics and reporting.Assisting with Root Cause Analysis of faults (to improve reliability) and safety (to prevent incidents that could lead to injury or damage).Assisting in the training of new Maintenance Specialists.Scheduling maintenance events for site.Performing other on-site duties delegated by Maintenance Manage.Supporting the development of a strong WHS culture.Safety first mindset always.Who you are:Demonstrated experience in maintaining technical equipment.Strong customer service ethos and critical thinking skills.Customer Service and Field Service experience in the mining or mineral sector (or related) processing industries.Able and willing to travel and work within Americas region and overseas, including at remote locations such as mine sites.Proven ability with proficient written and verbal communication skills.Valid rights to work.Proficient using software platforms for reporting to include the MS Office suite of products.Tertiary qualification in engineering (electrical, electronic, mechanical, or mechatronic) or a closely related technical discipline.Familiarity with the mining industry and mine-site operations.Demonstrated experience in fault finding in electro-mechanical equipment.Direct experience in one or more of the following areas: electrical wiring and safety, power distribution, mechanical maintenance, and repairs;
