GCP Data Engineer Job OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced professional to spearhead our GCP data engineering initiatives.As a key member of our team, you will design and implement robust data architectures on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using a variety of services.Responsibilities:Proficiency in BigQuery, Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub is requiredYou should have hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQLA solid understanding of orchestration using Cloud Composer (Airflow) is essentialExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) applied to data pipelines, particularly with Git and TerraformYou should be well-versed in cloud cost and performance optimization strategiesPossession of relevant GCP certifications is highly valuedFamiliarity with Kubernetes (GKE) and APIs on GCP is necessaryHands-on experience with Machine Learning pipelines (Vertex AI, AI Platform)Previous involvement with Data Mesh and distributed architectures is desirableA solid grasp of Data Lake layers and concepts of batch and streaming processing is requiredProficiency in data modeling (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL)What can you expect from this role?Ongoing professional development and opportunities for growth in line with your interestsThe chance to work with a diverse and innovative teamA collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and open communicationKey Skills:Data engineeringCloud platformsData architectureMachine learningKubernetesAPIs
