About the Opportunity We are seeking a DevOps / Technical Support Engineer to support a development team working on the internationalization and maintenance of a large-scale e-commerce platform.The environment consists of a distributed microservices architecture deployed on on-premises Kubernetes clusters and virtual machines, requiring hands-on troubleshooting, deployment operations, and strong coordination with engineering teams and clients.This role is highly technical and involves active participation in English-speaking client meetings and collaboration across multiple teams.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development team responsible for translating and adapting a distributed microservices e-commerce platform.Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes microservice deployments using Helm charts.Operate and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines; diagnose and resolve failures in automated deployment processes.Collaborate closely with Java and Python development teams to understand deployment requirements.Troubleshoot client ecosystem tools based on Jenkins self-service pipelines.Support backend technologies such as PostgreSQL and Kafka, handling configuration, connectivity, and integration issues.Retrieve and analyze logs from Kubernetes pods and on-prem VMs using Grafana, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Jenkins logs.Participate in English-speaking client meetings to gather requirements, clarify needs, and provide updates.Contribute to improvements in deployment processes, documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting procedures.MethodologyManage work using a Kanban workflow.Experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies.Required QualificationsExperience with Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized deployments in on-premise environments.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins.Basic to intermediate experience with microservices written in Java and Python.Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Kafka.Ability to diagnose distributed system issues using logs, dashboards, and monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK, etc.).Experience with on-premises infrastructure.Strong communication skills with the ability to participate confidently in English-speaking client meetings.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in complex environments.Proven experience troubleshooting legacy systems built in Java.Nice to Have SkillsExperience with large enterprise e-commerce platforms.Knowledge of networking, authentication, and authorization concepts.Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.Experience with Groovy for Jenkins Pipeline-as-Code.Avenue Code reinforces its commitment to privacy and to all the principles guaranteed by the most accurate global data protection laws, such as GDPR, LGPD, CCPA and CPRA.The Candidate data shared with Avenue Code will be kept confidential and will not be transmitted to disinterested third parties, nor will it be used for purposes other than the application for open positions.As a Consultancy company, Avenue Code may share your information with its clients and other Companies from the CompassUol Group to which Avenue Code's consultants are allocated to perform its services.#J-*****-Ljbffr
