OverviewPhysics Specialist role at Innodata Inc.Innodata (NASDAQ: INOD) is a data engineering company focused on AI technologies.We are seeking a Physics Subject Matter Expert with strong writing and analytical skills to join our AI/ML data team to help train advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) by producing, curating, and reviewing high-quality physics content.Your expertise will shape how AI systems understand, explain, and reason about physics concepts.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate high-quality, accurate, and pedagogically sound physics content, including:Conceptual explanationsProblem sets and solutionsTheoretical summaries and derivationsResearch abstracts and technical writingCollaborate with AI researchers and engineers to:Review and refine physics-related model outputsIdentify and fill conceptual gaps in LLM training dataBuild datasets across physics domains (classical mechanics, quantum physics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, relativity, astrophysics, etc.)Provide feedback to improve LLM performance in reasoning, solving, and communicating physics contentEnsure consistency, depth, and scientific accuracy across all contentContribute to development of content standards and annotation guidelinesQualificationsMaster's or PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline (MS with exceptional experience may be considered)Strong background in theoretical and/or applied physicsExcellent technical and academic writing skillsExperience in teaching, curriculum design, academic publishing, or textbook writingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in LaTeX, Markdown, or similar tools used for scientific documentationComfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams with engineers, linguists, and data scientistsAs part of the project, you are required to complete the English language assessmentEligibility & PreferencesExperience in building or curating datasets for AI/ML trainingExperience with dataset annotation and model evaluation for physics contentEmployment Type & SeniorityFull-timeSeniority level: Entry levelLocation & About InnodataLocated in various regions; Innodata collaborates with technology companies on generative AI and LLMs.Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Innodata Inc.#J-*****-Ljbffr
