We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to maintain and enhance real-time data systems.The ideal candidate will handle alert and incident management, problem resolution, and system improvements ensuring uptime and performance for global trading and data services.Key Responsibilities:Resolving data quality issues by analyzing root causes and managing internal and external vendors to resolve data issues.Supporting on-call, incident management, problem, and change management.Ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of data in real-time by implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Collaborating with regional and global market data infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience to enrich the team's capability and work together to provide high-quality services on market data.L2 Alert Management: Managing alerts that require knowledge for resolutions, creating and/or updating resolutions into a knowledge base, run books, scripts, and IT rules where possible.Incident Management: Managing the lifecycle of incidents from identification to resolution, ensuring mitigation of business impact in the production environment.Change Management: Managing the process of making production changes to the ticker plant like mandatory updates which includes content, software changes/upgrades that are performed by vendors or internal teams where only checkouts are necessary.Others: Release management, event management, user support, reporting.Requirements:Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.Highly skilled in Linux system administration.Experience in Windows operating systems.Scripting proficiency (Bash and/or Python preferred).Experience with networking and connectivity skills e.g. multicast, routing, switches, TCP/IP.Good communication and oral and written English skills are a must.Understanding of ITIL Foundation and IT best practices.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Nice-to-have skills:Experience with ITRS Geneos, Exegy (Wombat/Vela), or Market Data Platforms (Refinitiv TREP/RDS, Bloomberg).Familiarity with AWS ECS, AWS VPC, Google Cloud.Experience with GitHub/GitLab and automation pipelines.Benefits:A modern, dynamic, and future-oriented environment within a top global institution.Flexible working arrangements – fully remote or hybrid options.Continuous learning and certification opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.Long-term career prospects with international exposure.Inclusive, multicultural team with regular knowledge-sharing and team events.
