We connect talented tech professionals in Latin America and Canada with remote career opportunities at innovative startups worldwide.We specialize in finding roles that align with your skills, experience, and career goals.Our personalized approach ensures you're matched with companies that value your contributions and offer opportunities for growth.Whether you're a software engineer, designer, marketer, or other tech professional, we're here to help you take the next step in your career.Company OverviewOur client is a fast-growing Legal Tech startup that turns phone and messaging data into records lawyers can use in court.Founded from firsthand legal experience, the company now serves a few hundred customers and operates a small, close-knit remote team.The business is nearly profitable and preparing for a funding round early next year.Security and compliance are central — the platform is SOC 2 certified and built with GDPR/CCPA readiness in mind.Your RoleYou'll build reliable, performant features across React and Node.js that transform raw communication data into exportable legal evidence.As the second engineer on the team, your work directly impacts attorneys and clients managing real-world cases under time pressure.You'll:Build and maintain production-grade web applications in React and Node.jsArchitect full-stack features for extracting and presenting communications dataCreate intuitive, accessible React UIs for non-technical legal usersDevelop secure Node.js services for large-scale dataset processing and exportEnsure reliable data synchronization across iOS, Android, and webParse complex data tables and integrate new data sourcesStrengthen authentication, authorization, and audit trailsAutomate validation and export workflows for zero-error outputCollaborate directly with leadership to scope, plan, and ship meaningful updatesYou Bring:3–5 years of production full-stack web developmentStrong proficiency with React, Node.js, and modern API patternsExperience handling structured and unstructured dataSolid debugging, documentation, and testing disciplineComfort designing features independently and delivering end-to-endExcellent written and spoken EnglishDetail-oriented, proactive, and effective in fully remote teamsBonus Points:Experience in startups or remote-first environmentsKnowledge of Legal Tech or evidence management workflowsWhat's Offered:Full-time remote contractor (40 hours/week)$4,000–$7,000 USD/month, paid monthly2–3 weeks paid time off (prorated)Flexible hours with overlap in U.S. business timesDirect collaboration with the CTO and founderVisible impact, high autonomy, and growth into senior rolesInterview Process:Discovery Call with Atomic – Intro chat to discuss your background and the opportunityLive Coding Session – Real-time problem-solving and code walkthroughClient Interviews with Hearsay – Meet the team and assess fit and collaboration style#J-*****-Ljbffr
