Application Engineer I: Digital Verification & Simulation - VIPCadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Application Engineer I to join the Digital Verification & Simulation team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.The role focuses on RTL-level verification using Cadence tools such as Xcelium, Palladium, Protium, Jasper, VIPs, Perspec, and other Cadence Digital Functional Verification tools.Job DescriptionProvide technical support in engagements with customers and field personnel for RTL verification solutions focused on Cadence Verification IP and related technologies.Contribute to technical and sales meetings, interacting with engineers, technical leads, and executives.Conduct root-cause analysis and provide resolution to customer technical issues.Develop and run cases to verify problems, create workarounds, test, and deliver R&D fixes.Collaborate closely with R&D using established protocols.Author application notes and help provide feedback on documentation.Use scripting languages like TCL and Python for flow development, automation, and enhancing design methodologies.Engage with the AE team on pre-sales and post-sales technical campaigns with Sales and Marketing.RequirementsComplete bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computational Mathematics, or related areas.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.Good problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong interest in debugging and contributing to customer success with technical interest in EDA, hardware development (HDL), logic design/verification, and the semiconductor industry.Nice to HaveExposure to RTL (Verilog or VHDL).Knowledge of verification methodologies such as UVM.Knowledge of industry standard protocols such as AMBA, USB, Ethernet, etc.Knowledge of memory models.Experience with scripting languages such as TCL and Python.Exposure to microelectronics, semiconductors, or EDA with experience in functional verification, model verification, or Verification IP.Knowledge of Cadence verification tools.Additional Job DetailsEmployment category: CLT.Employment term: 40 hours/week.Competitive benefits.Av.do Contorno ****, Savassi, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.About Cadence Design SystemsCadence was named a Great Place to Work globally and in Brazil and is a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For.Cadence provides the expertise, tools, IP, and hardware required for the entire electronics design chain, from chip design to packaging to systems.Our products are used across mobile, consumer, cloud, automotive, aerospace, IoT, and industrial markets.For more information, visit cadence.com.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesSoftware Development#J-*****-Ljbffr
