Software Automation Solutions Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced DevOps Solution Engineer to work on a remote project in Brazil.The ideal candidate will have expertise in software automation and a strong background in cloud architecture.Required Skills and Qualifications6+ years of IT experienceExperience in cloud architecture and design with 2 or more years of experience automating IT administration, IT processes, or business processes3 to 5 years of Experience on Azure DevOps tool in terms of building Build and Deployment pipelinesExperience in cloud architecture and design with more than 3 years of experience in automating IT administration, IT processes, or business processes, deploying applications and provisioning infrastructureExperience with microservices and distributed applications, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology, SDLC and delivery using Agile practicesAt least 2 year of programming experience in scripting languages like PowerShellExperience working on Linux based infrastructureStrong knowledge in Code Review and Security tools, say SonarQube, Checkmarx, HCL Appscan, WizCLI or any otherFamiliarity with security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in the software development lifecycleStrong knowledge of Testing methodologies and tools like Selenium and Unit Testing frameworksExperience in automating / integrating a broad range of systems and services using Terraform for any of the cloud Platforms like AzureExperience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Azure BoardsExperience with open-source technologies and cloud servicesExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or any other stack is essentialB.A.or B.S. in Information Technology or related fieldStrong leadership, partnership, and communication skillsExperience with IT architecture with focus on reusability and automationAbility to coordinate with all levels of the firm to design and deliver technical solutions to business problemsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsAbility to influence without authorityStrong virtual meeting facilitation abilitiesPrioritization and time managementResponsibilitiesDemonstrate proficiency in multiple DevOps related tools and technologiesHands-on experience of continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and all phases of the Software Development Life CycleStrong technical documentation skillsExpert in Azure DevOps designExpert in Source Control Management, including branching, integration, and merging techniquesExperience in performing integrations for production builds and server hot fixesExperience with Application Lifecycle Management tools and Source Control systems, such as GIT, Azure DevOps/VSTSHands-on experience in setting up DevOps pipeline for a project (Automated deployments with Continuous Integration/Delivery workflows)Experience with software build and deploy tools such as Azure DevOpsExperience with static code analysis for codes quality and security – using SonarQube, Checkmarx and WizCLIFamiliarity with security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in the software development lifecycleDefine and implement efficient end-to-end provisioning of automation solutionsExperience with Docker & Kubernetes is a mustExposure to configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similarExperience in Cloud Provisioning tools such as TerraformStrong Scripting experience in PowerShell or any other scripting languagesEnsures the adherence to standards, policies, and proceduresIntegrate systems using a wide variety of protocols like REST, SOAP, MQ, TCP/IP, JSON, and othersUnderstanding customer requirements and project KPIsMentor other engineers and technical analysts
