Join to apply for the Senior Program/Construction Manager role at CHA Consulting, Inc.CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Program/Construction Manager to join our Commercial & Institutional – PM/CM Team at our Bethlehem, PA office.YOUR IMPACTCHA is committed to delivering on-time, on-budget and high-quality projects, working closely with owners throughout the process to ensure success.We provide the necessary tools and skillset to effectively manage construction projects from schools and apartment buildings to municipal buildings and warehouses.At CHA, the Senior Program/Construction Manager will be responsible for the overall management and oversight of capital projects within the group.This senior, key role will serve as a trusted advisor and owner representative to clients, ensuring all projects are completed according to client specifications and client needs are met across all sites.Our Senior Program/Construction Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure.This individual sells and develops work with specific clients, ultimately leading to a "seller/doer" dual role.The Senior Program/Construction Manager clearly and successfully communicates updates to the client, management and project team, as well as prepares for and attends monthly project review meetings with operations.The professional in this role plays an important role in setting visions and strategies for other Project Managers and understands the professional goals of others.At CHA, you can build a career and find your passion across our diverse business lines and project teams.Being part of CHA means being part of a team of talented professionals, where you'll find support for your career growth and the opportunity to impact our industry and our communities.Find your "why" at CHAResponsibilitiesOversee the management and oversight of capital projects within the group, serving as trusted advisor and owner representative to clients.Ensure projects are completed to client specifications and meet client needs across all sites.Coordinate with owners, project teams and operations to deliver on-time and on-budget outcomes.Lead the development of proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents.Communicate updates to clients and internal teams; participate in monthly project review meetings.Set visions and strategies for other Project Managers and support their professional goals.Sell and develop work with specific clients in a seller/doer capacity.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, science, planning, engineering management or a related degree or equivalent combination of experience and licensureMinimum of 11 years of industry experience; minimum 8 years of project management experienceDesign experience requiredExpert knowledge of project engineering and/or general construction principles and construction schedulesKnowledge of multi-prime contractsExperience leading public clients on school and municipal projects through the design and construction processExperience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documentsDemonstrated experience in managing client relationships and interpreting client contract requirementsAbility to track and oversee multiple projectsExperience in project accounting processes including budgeting, forecasts and cash managementExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience managing client relationships with investor-owned utilities is highly preferredKnowledge of Deltek Vision and MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt communication style to various audiencesAbility to travel as neededConsulting industry experience highly preferredStrong leadership, urgency, and ability to drive initiatives to completion;
