OverviewSentinelOne is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer (SE) to support the growth of our MSSP partner business across North America.
This role is critical in driving adoption, building strong partner relationships, and evangelizing our solutions across the Americas.
As a seasoned SE, you will focus on enabling the MSSP ecosystem, positioning and integrating SentinelOne's technology within partner technical offerings, selling to the managed partner base, conducting demos, delivering technical training, Proof of Values, assisting partners with pre and post sales activities, and assisting with escalations.
You will manage our MSSP partners while cultivating long-term relationships with partners and the SentinelOne field and Product/Engineering teams.The role requires excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills, experience with MSP/MSSPs, distributors, aggregators, and strategic partners, along with strong familiarity with EDR, XDR, SIEM, and cloud technologies.
You will help prospective and current partners understand the benefits of SentinelOne, explaining technical features and solving potential roadblocks while building champions who will be equally passionate about SentinelOne.Our Partner SE team embodies four pillars—everything you do revolves around these principles:Build and Enable Tech Champions: Build and empower technical champions across partners, leveraging the ecosystemPractice & Service Development: Support partner GTM strategies and co-create joint solutions and offeringsTechnical Sales Success: Drive technical success across the entire customer and partner journeyCommunity Building: Own your franchise and build a network of trusted cohortsWhat Will You Do?
Work with the Managed partner team to identify and qualify partnership opportunities, identify key partner technical objections, competition, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers and scale the partner sales businessBring feedback from partners and end customers to product management to improve SentinelOne's solutionDrive follow-ups with partner resources to consistently deliver messaging how SentinelOne adds value to the partner and their customersPlan and create go-to-market initiatives and offerings with SentinelOne partnersDevelop and execute technical training plans for partnersOwn the technical relationship with SentinelOne's partners, and coordinate additional technical resourcesDeliver demonstrations and work hands-on with partners to demonstrate SentinelOne's value in the partner's environment or solutionsBe motivated by partner success and growing partner relationshipsWhat Skills and Knowledge Should You Bring?
10+ years in field, 3+ years of Sales Engineering experienceExceptional track record of growing managed partner technical resourcesStrong background in building relationships with internal sales and product teamsExperience presenting and delivering technical demos and sales value presentations to varying audiences from architects to C-level executivesTechnical experience/skills for the successful candidate:Previous experience as a practitioner at a MSSP, MSP, MDR, IR partner or in a SOCFamiliarity with SIEM or other data lake solutionsA strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity security and endpoint security solutions is ideal for success in this role or similar in tech/software industryThis includes knowledge of complex cybersecurity threats and attack vectors, as well as different types of endpoint security solutions, such as malware prevention and XDR/SIEM solutionsExperience working with cloud computing environments (e.g., technical sales, DevOps, security, sales engineering or similar role)Experience in and understanding of cloud deployments—especially as relates to security and complianceExperience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
