This role bridges the Purchasing team and all school departments, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and timely acquisitions across academic, administrative, and infrastructural areas.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.Minimum of 5 years in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a medium to large-sized organization.Specific KnowledgeProficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (preferably RM Nucleus)Strong knowledge of Google Workspace;Strong knowledge of purchasing practices, vendor negotiation, and contract managementStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with integrity and solutions-oriented mindset.Other Skills (Desirable):Experience in educational institutionsFamiliarity with school-specific purchasing requirementsExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsKey Responsibilities:Handle end-to-end procurement activities—including soliciting quotes, issuing orders, and coordinating with vendors—across all school functions.Manage contract lifecycle: track terms, deadlines, renewals, and ensure compliance for services, construction, and housing-related agreements.Collaborate with HR on professional development reimbursements and apartment/utilities contracts to ensure accuracy and policy alignment.Maintain and update the vendor database, monitor performance, delivery adherence, and fulfillment timelines.Act as the primary procurement contact for internal stakeholders, aligning purchasing solutions with departmental needs.Source and vet local and international suppliers; lead bidding processes (BIDs, RFIs, RFPs) and negotiate favorable terms.Perform benchmarking, market trend analyses, and supplier performance reviews to refine sourcing strategies.Monitor international procurement factors such as exchange rates, tariffs, logistics costs, and ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.Design and refine procurement policies and workflows to boost efficiency, cost effectiveness, and fiscal responsibility.Generate regular reports on procurement activities, contract statuses, vendor performance, and strategic sourcing outcomes.Seniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionPurchasing and Supply ChainIndustriesEducation Administration ProgramsReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Escola Americana de Campinas by 2xWe're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
