With multiple concepts and locations under management, we need a Senior Accountant who can help build the financial systems, processes, and reporting that will support us as we scale. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting and financial operations across our restaurant group. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing strong controls, and supporting decision-making with timely analysis. You'll work closely with the leadership team to manage budgets, streamline processes, and provide insights that improve profitability. This is a hands-on position where you'll both manage the numbers day-to-day and help design the systems that will carry the company forward. What You'll Do Oversee all accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to support company growth Ensure compliance with tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements Implement and improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures Partner with operations leadership to track restaurant performance and profitability Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to guide business decisions What We're Looking For Careful attention to detail and accuracy in financial work Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment A proactive mindset—able to spot issues early and propose solutions Clear communicator, both written and spoken Strong knowledge of accounting systems (Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar) Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling and reporting Collaborative approach to working with operations and leadership teams Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Valid registration with the CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade) in Brazil (Contador habilitado) At least 5–7 years of professional experience in accounting/finance, ideally including restaurant, hospitality, or retail sector experience Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience with U. S. GAAP or IFRS reporting standards Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling and reporting Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) Preferred U. S. CPA license or progress toward CPA certification Experience working with U. S.-based companies, subsidiaries, or international operations Software Experience Microsoft Office: must have Quickbooks Online: Strong preference Toast: Nice to have Growth Potential This role offers the opportunity to help shape the financial foundation of a growing restaurant group.
