Controls Engineer – Sustaining?? Remote | Global Support Role | Full-TimeTARGANAbout the RoleTARGAN is transforming animal agriculture through advanced automation — and we're looking for aControls Engineer – Sustainingto help keep our systems running smoothly around the world.This is ahands-on, global support rolethat bridgesField ServicesandR&D Controls Engineering.You'll remotely monitor and troubleshoot our automated machinery at hatcheries acrossBrazil, Thailand, Italy, Spain, and North America — ensuring uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement of our control systems.What You'll DoRemotely monitor TARGAN systems viacloud dashboards, PLC access, and on-machine interfaces.Provide real-time technical support to field technicians viaTeams and other communication tools.Analyze hatchery performance data and participate inweekly global team meetingsto share insights and best practices.Serve as part of theescalation processwhen issues impact customer operations, coordinating with internal engineering teams.Support ongoingrefinement and optimizationof control and electrical systems.What You BringProven ability totroubleshoot PLCs remotelyand interpret electrical schematics.Solid understanding ofelectro-mechanical systems,Ethernet networks, andindustrial fieldbus protocols(EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, etc.).Familiarity withindustrial control languages(ladder logic, structured text, function block) andHMI systems.Experience with tools such asAutoCAD ElectricalorSolidWorks Electricalis a plus.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and field teams.QualificationsBachelor's degree inElectrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.Fluent inEnglishand at least one of:Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Thai.3–5+ years of experience inengineering supportorindustrial automation; equivalent hands-on experience considered.Willingness to worksecond or third shift (EST)to align with international time zones.Comfortable working cross-functionally with R&D, Field Services, and Operations teams.Why TARGAN?Join a growing global company pioneeringautomation in animal health and agriculture.At TARGAN, you'll collaborate with talented engineers across continents, support cutting-edge machinery, and make a direct impact on our customers' success worldwide.Highly competitive base salary, bonus, benefits and stock options.
