OverviewWhy should you join dLocal?dLocal enables the biggest companies in the world to collect payments in 40 countries in emerging markets.Global brands rely on us to increase conversion rates and simplify payment expansion effortlessly.As both a payments processor and a merchant of record where we operate, we make it possible for our merchants to make inroads into the world's fastest-growing, emerging markets.By joining us you will be a part of an amazing global team that makes it all happen, in a flexible, remote-first dynamic culture with travel, health and learning benefits, among others.Being a part of dLocal means working with ****+ teammates from 30+ different nationalities and developing an international career that impacts millions of people's daily lives.We are builders, we never run from a challenge, we are customer-centric, and if this sounds like you, we know you will thrive in our team.The Manager – SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting will play a key role within the Finance organization, leading the group's external financial reporting under IFRS and U.S. SEC requirements.This position has end-to-end ownership of SEC reporting, group consolidation, disclosure quality, and internal controls over financial reporting, while also providing technical accounting support on complex transactions.What will you be doing?SEC Reporting & External Financial StatementsLead the preparation, coordination, review, and filing of Form 20-F and Form 6-K, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and IFRSOwn and manage the full SEC reporting calendar, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality filingsReview consolidated financial statements, notes, and disclosures under IFRSEnsure consistency across consolidated financials, SEC filings, management reporting, and investor-facing materialsPartner closely with Legal, Investor Relations, and external advisors on disclosure mattersInternal Controls & GovernanceOwn and maintain effective Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) within the SEC reporting and consolidation scopeDesign, document, and continuously improve reporting and consolidation controls, policies, and proceduresSupport internal and external audits, including coordination with auditors and remediation of findingsProcess Improvement & AutomationIdentify inefficiencies, manual processes, and data quality issues across consolidation and reporting activitiesLead automation and standardization initiatives in collaboration with Finance Systems and IT teamsDrive scalable solutions to support business growth and increasing reporting complexityIFRS Technical AccountingSupport the assessment of accounting treatment for complex or non-routine transactions impacting consolidated financial statements and disclosuresContribute to the maintenance and interpretation of group accounting policies, ensuring alignment with IFRS and external reporting requirementsWhat skills do I need?Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong experience in SEC reporting, including Form 20-F and Form 6-KHands-on experience with group consolidation in a multinational environmentSolid understanding of IFRS financial statements and disclosure requirementsExperience working with internal controls over financial reportingCertified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)Strong technical expertise in SEC reporting and consolidationHigh attention to detail with a strong ownership mindsetAbility to manage complex timelines and multiple stakeholdersClear, structured, and effective communication skillsContinuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on automation and scalabilityWhat do we offer?Flexibility: we have flexible schedules and we are driven by performanceFintech industry: work in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment, with plenty to build and boost your creativityReferral bonus program: our internal talents are the best recruiters -
