Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Data Architect to lead the design and optimization of our global, multi-cloud data infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), modern data stack tools, as well as experience with data migration, orchestration, and monitoring.ResponsibilitiesArchitecting and managing scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance data pipelines using AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, Azure Data Factory, and Python.Designing and implementing global data infrastructure across multiple regions, optimizing for latency, availability, and compliance with international data standards.Leading and overseeing data migrations between cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), legacy systems, and global regions with minimal downtime and high data integrity.Defining standards for indexing, query optimization, partitioning, and sharding strategies to support high-throughput and low-latency workloads.Championing observability by implementing and scaling monitoring, alerting, and dashboards via CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or similar tools.Orchestrating transformations using DBT or Coalesce, maintaining strong data lineage, validation, and governance across workflows.Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, DevOps, and Analytics teams to deliver data solutions that are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient.Mentoring engineers in best practices for database performance, automation, and data reliability.Driving automation and operational excellence through CLI tools, APIs, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep), and CI/CD pipelines.Ensuring data quality and compliance by implementing validation frameworks, automated testing, and consistent documentation across systems.Benefits100% remote workCompetitive salary in USDPaid time off according to country regulationsNational Holidays celebratedSick leaveRefundable Annual CreditTeam-building activitiesBirthday day off
