Senior Motion Designer

Senior Motion Designer (with UX/UI) Location : Remote [LATAM preferred]Engagement : Part-time ContractorDuration : 4 to 6 weeks [possibility of extension]Schedule : 15 to 20 hours per week [or full-time for two sprints]About the Role We're looking for a Motion Designer with strong expertise in UX/UI to elevate our product experience through animation, micro-interactions, and motion-driven storytelling.You'll craft intuitive interfaces, define motion principles for our design system, and design flows that feel smooth, modern, and expressive.This engagement is part of a larger product initiative, and strong performance may lead to future design phases.We're seeking someone detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with product, engineering, and leadership in a remote, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Create 2D and 3D animations, parallax, or holographic-inspired elements, transitions, micro-interactions, banners, and Lottie or Framer Motion-ready assetsDesign intuitive, accessible UI and UX flows enriched with clean, purposeful motionBuild or refine a lightweight design system in Figma, including components, tokens, motion states, and documentationPropose tasteful animation patterns that enhance usability rather than distractEnsure all motion follows accessibility best practices [reduced motion, contrast, timing, cognitive load]Deliver final assets with implementation notes for engineering teamsCollaborate closely with product to iterate quickly based on feedbackRequirements 4, or more, years of experience as a Motion Designer with strong knowledge in UI/UX designProficiency with animation tools such as After Effects, Lottie, Rive, or Framer MotionKnowledge of Spline, Blender, or other 3D prototyping toolsExpert-level Figma skillsPortfolio demonstrating motion-first interfaces, refined UI, and strong UX thinkingAbility to articulate design decisions clearly and collaborate efficientlyAdvanced English for communication with international teamsNice to Have Experience building or maintaining design systems at scaleFamiliarity with front-end animation frameworks [React, Framer Motion, CSS transitions]Previous work in agile or fast-paced product teamsWhy Join Your work will directly shape how users experience motion in our product.This is a highly visible project with room for creativity and experimentation.You'll join a small, focused remote team that values craft, clarity, and smart design, and there's a strong chance for future collaboration as the product expands.If you love designing beautiful, usable interfaces combined with thoughtful motion and interaction design, this role is a great fit.
