The Project Operations Manager is responsible for achieving project and performance targets in country, in accordance with Project Strategy & Schedule and for supporting the transition to the Life of Field (LOF) operation.
The POM supports the Project by achieving the objectives of the main contract and any applicable service support agreement.
The POM is the main operational in-country contact and is responsible for ensuring that sufficient resources are available to meet the project plan.
**Responsabilidades e atribuições**
- Clearly defining and communicating the scope of supply and requirements from the aftermarket project team and supporting base(s).
- Managing the execution activities required to support the project schedule, identifying the critical path issues and developing mitigation actions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Project Risk Management, identification of risks and mitigation action plans.
- Leading the assigned Project team, the Project Operations Manager will motivate, take accountability for actions taken and develop a team working approach.
- Project Financial Management, disseminating costs/budgets to internal departments and tracking of these costs to the budget.
Ensure all internal financial transactions are submitted in a regular and timely manner or as per project specific requirements.
- Identify project changes to the original scope and create Change Requests for approval internally and externally, in order to maximize profit.
- Provide project forecasts for completion of equipment, services, cash milestones & margin.
- Understand the projects contractual requirements and ensure the business adheres to them.
- Delivery of cash milestones into the business.
- Provide reporting information for both internal and external use (customer specific reports) on a weekly / monthly basis.
- Participate in & run internal or external project review meetings.
- Ensure all necessary major sub-vendor support is in place to support in-country activities.
- Ensuring Health, Safety, Security & Environmental procedures are adhered to.
Ensuring the right attitude to safety and be committed to ensuring that jobs are done in a safe manner.
- Ensure awareness and compliance with the Company Health & Safety regulations.
**Requisitos e qualificações**
- Degree qualified (e.g. Engineering, Business and or Supply Chain) or equivalent 3-5 years experiences in a project management role.
- Relevant work experience with OneSubsea equipment or similar oil tool equipment.
- Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word & SAP knowledge with auto-cad experience is preferable.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills.
- Experience in project planning and cost control management will be an advantage.
- Problem solving ability.
- Commercial awareness.
- Leadership skills to include ability to motivate colleagues & team members
- Have good foresight, initiative & ability to take accountability for their actions and the team they are supervising.
