Job OpportunityWe are seeking a remote, full-time Senior Front-End Software Engineer with at least 5 years of software development experience.The candidate must have a strong background in React.js and experience with GraphQL.As a foundational member of our team, you will play a key role in building the core platform that enables power utilities to shift from decades-old legacy systems into an AI-native future.This requires working proficiency with AI tools and UI scaffolding to ensure an optimal user experience.This role requires strong coding fundamentals, system design capability, and the mindset of a builder who thrives in a startup environment.You will work in small, agile teams reporting directly to the CTO, collaborating closely with AI and full-stack engineers, security leaders, and product managers.Our goal is to build an AI-centric operating system for utilities, harnessing AI at the enterprise level to better orchestrate customer delight, facilitate power optimization, enhance grid health, and unlock flexibility at scale.Key Responsibilities:Front-End Development: Work closely with UI/UX designers to build, implement, and maintain scalable front-end applications, ensuring delivery of unparalleled user experiencesArchitecture: Lead front-end architectural decisions, implementing best practices in performance optimization and responsive designLeadership: Provide leadership within the development team, fostering a learning and growth environmentSystem Modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern, secure, scalable codebases using cloud-native best practicesSecurity & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulations, implementing secure coding practices by defaultAgile Delivery: Deliver features and improvements in cycles measured in weeks, balancing speed with reliability
