Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Professional to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing an existing LAMP-based web application, designing and developing modern application components, and taking technical ownership of features.They will also be required to independently deliver high-quality product features and updates, while proactively seeking guidance when needed to maintain momentum.In addition, the Senior Software Development Professional will be responsible for writing and executing unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability, investigating and resolving defects identified during QA and user acceptance testing cycles, and actively participating in daily standups and weekly team meetings to discuss priorities, progress, and share ideas or technical insights.Required Skills and QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills4+ years of full-stack development experience using PHP, Linux (AWS EC2), Apache, and MySQLHands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation and deploying containerized applications using AWS ECSSolid understanding of Agile development practices, object-oriented programming, and multi-tiered software architecturesProven ability to work independently while recognizing when to collaborate or seek guidance to meet deadlines and maintain high qualityAbout UsWe are a nearshore software development company providing outsourced development resources to North American companies.Our mission is to offer development talent who enjoy taking on challenging work, want to grow their skills and experiences building software, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
