Manual QA Engineer - Oowlish • Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, BrasilAbout the RoleWe are looking for a QA Analyst (Manual Testing) to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of web-based applications through thorough manual testing practices.This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about identifying issues before they reach end-users.You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle, validating requirements, executing test cases, and clearly documenting findings.The role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of QA fundamentals, and the ability to work in dynamic environments where quality and collaboration are critical.ResponsibilitiesExecute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performanceReview requirements and specifications to ensure test coverageIdentify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking toolsPerform regression, smoke, and exploratory testingCollaborate closely with developers and product teams to clarify issues and validate fixesEnsure testing activities align with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Maintain clear and accurate testing documentationMust HavePrevious experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on manual testingSolid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Experience testing web-based applications (mobile testing is a plus)Familiarity with bug-tracking and test-management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)Ability to communicate findings clearly and professionallyNice to HaveExperience with mobile application testingExposure to basic test-case design techniquesFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum environmentsInterest in expanding toward automation testing in the futureBenefits & PerksHome office – remote workCompetitive compensation based on experienceCareer plans to allow for extensive growth in the companyInternational projectsOowlish English Program (Technical and Conversational)Oowlish Fitness with Total PassGames and competitionsCompany InformationOowlish is one of Latin America's rapidly expanding software development companies.We collaborate with premier clients from the United States and Europe, contributing to pioneering digital solutions.Our commitment to creating a nurturing work environment is recognized by our certification as a Great Place to Work.We offer opportunities for professional development, growth, and a chance to make a significant international impact.Employment type: Full-time.#J-*****-Ljbffr
